One day an idea came to me...

When I saw a big old tree I remembered that the number of rings is a measure of how long the tree has lived...And then I thought, "What if there was a record player that could read the information from those rings and translate that information into video? Then, we could watch everything the tree has seen in its lifetime."

Or, for example, what does a tree sound like? What do different species sound like? Or how a tree sounds, depending on the season or bloom? Then, in the analogy of a vinyl record player, you could play the melody of a tree. And each one would have a unique one.

What if the turntable was live and portable? Would it replace the music player at home? A branch that, depending on the season, changes its appearance: then blooms, then sheds its leaves, and all the time it sounds. It never stops sounding, and always in a different way.

I wish I had one. Would you?
